About Photography Weekends Britain
The new Bradt Photography Weekends Britain Guidebook is the first photography-location guidebook to cover England, Wales and Scotland in a single title – and the first to package photogenic destinations into practical short breaks.

Britain’s diverse landscapes are a magnet to photographers. For a relatively small area, the country offers everything from wave-gnawed rocky shores to moss-shrouded forest. The seasons provide added interest, whether you’re focusing on spring carpets of bluebells in the Cotswolds, summer-nesting puffins in Pembrokeshire or snow-flecked mountains in the Lake District.
This all presents a wealth of photographic potential. But where are the best places to go for a photography break in Britain? When are the best times to plan a weekend or short break away with your camera? And how do you plan a trip that covers everything you need to consider for both photography and travel?
