We always love to see our guidebooks on the road – here’s a selection of our favourites for October.
Wild Times – A gentle invitation to ‘explore, engage your senses and enjoy!’ I attended the lovely Jini Reddy’s book launch in London last night and am currently half way through reading about a possible 3rd ‘date with nature’ and am hooked! (Is it sad to say that dreaming about dates with Nature possibly excite me more than ‘real’ ones..?!
At the Amber Valley beer festival, in #Belper. As you can see, I’m still plotting my trip to Albania; I leave on Friday so still got plenty of time lol. The #beer pictured is from Revolutions brewery and is called ‘Psychocandy’, named after the song, yes. It’s a 7.0% hoppy, slightly dry affair that doesn’t have a strong distinctive taste, but after a few sips a) you get a fresh, citric, woodland aftertaste, and b) you realise that, yes it is 7.0%, and it’s a bit too late to do anything about it … :p
