About this author

Paul Murray spent all of his working life in the travel industry. He first fell in love with Zimbabwe and its people more than 25 years ago while driving his ageing father around the country in a battered old hire car. Since then, Paul has filled the equivalent of three complete passports with Zimbabwe stamps. Twelve years ago, Paul took an early retirement; he and his wife bought a 4x4 and a house near Durban, allowing them to go touring and camping around the whole of southern Africa. Paul spends a considerable part of each year in Zimbabwe and, as well as writing this book, he’s involved in a number of other initiatives promoting tourism to the country.
