Ivana Dukčević was born and lives in Belgrade, Serbia. In addition to working on Bradt’s Serbia, she has authored and provided photographs for a range of other guides. In 2019 her book of travel stories was puiblished, accompanied with her photos, covering her travels to Japan, Iran, Turkey, Italy and Spain. Her travel photos have also been published as photos of the month in National Geographic (Serbian edition) and she has written more than 150 travel articles for Travel Magazine (local edition), Grazia and other international lifestyle magazines. She runs her own travel pages where she posts stories with photos from her travels: umetnostputovanja.rs. Her travel photos are marketed through Istockphoto/Getty Images. She also has partnerships with national tourist organizations (Madeira-Portugal, Greece, Germany, Turkey, Montenegro, Athens-Attica, Berlin, etc), companies (e.g. Turkish Airlines in Serbia, Japan Rail Pass office in London), that sponsor many of her travels. Ivana specializes in the Mediterranean, Japan, and Turkey and Middle Eastern cultures (she has received special recognition from the Turkish Ministry of Tourism and Culture).
