Luxembourg - Giving something back

Giving something back

If you enjoyed your stay in Luxembourg, why not show your appreciation by donating to the Mentor Foundation (22 Chelsea Manor St, London SW3 5RL, UK; 01509 221622; secretariat@mentorfoundation.org; www.mentorfoundation.org), a charity of which Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa are honorary trustees. The foundation’s mission is to prevent drug misuse and promote the health and well-being of young people worldwide.

The guiding principle of another, Luxembourg-based, royal charity, the Fondation du Grand-Duc et de la Grande-Duchesse (8 An der Sang, L-7739 Colmar-Berg, Luxembourg; +352 31 70 311; info@fondation-grand-ducale.lu; www.fondation-grand-ducale.lu), is respect for human dignity. The foundation works in two key areas domestically: providing social assistance to those in need, and helping those with physical, psychological or social difficulties. It also works internationally, supporting UNICEF projects in Burundi.
