The Clifton on Bridge Road in Wellington is a 1930s redundant cinema building which a group of passionate local people are hoping to turn into a community arts organisation with performance space. In 2015 it was sold to developers with unknown intentions; now Save the Clifton is campaigning to preserve its use for the community. You can find out more at www.theclifton.org.
