To date there are no low-cost carriers operating regular flights to Montenegro, although rumours abound that Ryanair may begin a seasonal service between Manchester and Tivat in Summer 2013. PORTO MONTENEGRO located just outside Tivat town has recently added to its facilities an authentic Japanese restaurant Mitzu. Not yet tried by this author but reports are excellent.
The Luxury hotel Regent is scheduled to open on the marina in May 2014.
BUSES: www.visit-montenegro.com/transport-bus.htm lists a current schedule of services operating from the capital Podgorica to main destinations within Montenegro and to neighbouring countries. It is of course as ever advisable to check with the bus station prior to travel.
