Born and educated in the UK, Piers Letcher has lived in France since 1984. As an independent writer and photographer he has published 17 books, along with more than a thousand newspaper and magazine articles and hundreds of photographs. Piers has also worked for the United Nations, where he wrote speeches for many prominent people, including Nelson Mandela.
A highly successful freelance writer, Sarah Parkes also works intermittently as a consultant with the United Nations in Geneva.
